Feature Friday #7 – Edward Harvey

Feature Friday

Every Friday we post a ‘Feature Friday’ where we ask a few questions to a member of our team. We hope that they give you a bit of an insight into the people who make Xuper tick. Some of their answers may be surprising, others may be a bit embarrassing, but they’re individual to them.

If you would like to put any particular questions to our team, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page.

This week’s feature is:

Edward Harvey!

How long have you worked at Xuper?

This is my fifth day.

Favourite things about working within IT?

Being able to use different and new technologies with colleagues of similar mind sets.

What does your typical work day consist of?

Resolving customer IT issues and looking at improving ways incidents are handled.

When did you develop an interest in IT?

In the early 80’s

When did you get your first computer?

Also in the early 80’s, first being the Phillip G7000 followed by the Commodore 16.

What hobbies do you have?

None as such.  Most of my time is dedicated to family although I do have a fascination regarding the space and what out there.

What is your favourite film/tv show?

This varies constantly but would say at the moment it’s The Shawshank Redemption and Big Bang Theory.

Favourite band/artist/song?

Bob Marley was very influential in my life.

If you were stuck on a desert island, who would you want to be stuck with and why?

Someone with a satellite phone…….

Tell us your best joke….

You would think that taking off a snail’s shell would make it move faster, but it actually just makes it more sluggish.
